purchased an entire samung appliance set and all 3 appliances have had issues. microwave broke after 6 months, refirgerator has had ongoign issues while under warranty and after warranty issues. they have a known problem with the refrigerator and there are no recall issues.

mine died after a short 7 years. the repair man came out and charged $140.00 and was there for 10 minutes and said there was nothing he could do. a freon leak.

exactly 3 years and 2 months after purchasing this fridge, the cooling in the freezer and fridge started to fail. the soonest service quick could send a technician was about 5 days. at this point, i had to throw away most of my food. technician arrives and performs diagnostic, and determines a part needs to be replaced. service quick calls me 5 days later to arrange an appointment that was about a week later. 3 weeks later, with a completely broken fridge, the technician arrives and does some repairs. the fridge works for a week, then completely loses cooling again. i expect this to take another 3 weeks to repair.

first i love this fridge however it keeps breaking and it is less than 6 years old. parts so far - ice maker tray, water dispenser button, door openers, thermostat, and defrost heater. now the hinges need some attention. we have an old refrigerator from the 90s in the garage that still works fine. makes it hard to continue to be a samsung fan.

the fridge had parts break off a week after buying it! samsung said they couldn't fix or replace so offered to refund (after weeks of me calling) then are now not going to. 100 % horrible. they also continue to delete my reviews. so sad cuz i loved samsung products. never again.

every part of this fridge is now failing. the shelves were the first to break (all of them including the deli drawer). now, after 5 years, the compressor struggles to cool and the control board is now kaput. the fridge will not accurately report temperatures and i had to put in a separate thermometer since the fridge was 15 degrees off of the correct temp! i don't think the next fridge will be a samsung.

we have had our refrigerator for just 2 years, so out of the warranty window but now we have had two of the door shelves crack right in half across the bottom and spill all of its contents over the floor. we are not hard on our refrigerator at all and just use it normally. they were even on the side of the refrigerator that we use the least. i tried to contact samsung to get them replaced but the shelves are super expensive and they are not willing to help. i feel like they just make products that just outlast the warranty and then just shrug their shoulders and don't help.

this new refrigerator was delivered to our home on june 2nd. literally 2 weeks after we started using it stopped cooling, the freezer. the repair company samsung assigned to us needed to order parts for repair (1.5-2 weeks). by july 17th, have heard nothing from repair center, so i called samsung for help and was told that all parts were not in. i asked for a replacement or refund and they said no because product was not "defective". since then the refrigerator portion has also stopped working. it is now the 26th of july and i still have no working frig or freezer in the house. worst service ever!!! last samsung product i will ever purchase. i really just want my money back at this point, but with samsung i doubt that will ever happen.

i've owned the refrigerator less than 2 years. it is now making a loud buzzing noise. i searched the internet and found that this is a common problem with samsung refrigerators. it's caused by ice build up around the fan. there are videos on how to fix this problem but it's not an easy fix for the average consumer. samsung should have fixed this design flaw years ago.

cooling and ice work great. the only thing i hate is the fruit and veggie drawers are not on sealed so leaves or stems get stuck and you cannot remove them so it looks a little messy.

We purchased this model a few years ago, and it has proven to be one of the worst investments we've ever made. Within 6 months, the fan/coils behind the back panel froze over, resulting in hot hair being pumped into our refrigerator and spoiling everything inside. The only "fix" was to remove the back panel (after allowing the coils to thaw for 12-24 hours), dry off the fan, and reinstall everything. We now have to do this every 3 months. Avoid this product!

We needed to replace a kitchen aid side by side. This model has great lighting, a ton of space in the top and lower section. It is easy to find things. The outside has clean lines and fits with the other stainless steel appliances we have. So far, this has been a great addition to the kitchen. No issues at all

Bought this piece of junk 4 years ago and have had enough of it. Leaks all the time because of a faulty defrost design that this company refuses to address (not just this model, but several others). If you don't believe me go to Amazon and look up the reviews for the defrost clip and that should convince you never to buy a Samsung fridge. This company will not help yourselves this issue either.

Bought about 3 years ago and we've had so many issues with it. First being extremely loud. Then ice and water were doing it own thing. Then it leaked water. Then finally stopped cooling. After some research found that Samsung refrigerator and cool but don't last long. Very disappointed

I have the 3 door and when you open the left door, if you even breath on the flap it will flop open and when you shut the door it slams into the other door. very poor design. I looked another brand and it is a lot stiffer so it is less likely to flop open. So from now on I will stay with the brand I have had for years, much better product.

I love the shelves and the one that extracts half way to give more space. Control location good as is filter replacement. Freezer space very good as is ice features. Would like to have cold water button a little larger and toward door a little. Overall very good refrigerator.

Have had this fridge for 21 months. Was great for less than a year. The interior shelves are split with a mounting bracket in the middle. Over time the shelves starting sagging in the middle, will not stay together, and make the space below practically unusable except on the sides. Found that the screw holding the bracket in place does not seem to connect to anything to anchor it, so the bracket is loose and does not support the shelves, even when they are totally empty. Ridiculous.

Purchased this "fridge" as a total new home appliance package 10/2013. Ice maker broker after 1 year and when purchased replacement from Samsung is not the original design as when manufactured at factory. Ice maker leaks water and ice constantly freezes not allowing the ice maker to work properly. I constantly (monthly) have to break ice in order for ice maker to work. Resetting ice maker no longer works. Now we are at a point where the ice maker does not make ice anymore. First repair service requested in 2015 and just scheduled another service visit. I could not recommend this unit. Look at another brand but more important, pay attention to warranty coverage, extended warranty if one is available and read the reviews from folks who have had the unit for a while. When an appliance is new everything works great. It is when the unit is a few years old that the quality is recognized. Not impressed with this unit at all. I will outweigh the cost to replace "vs" repair.

Needed to replace our old side by side, which was 12 years old, ice maker was not working and it leaked. Did a lot of research and decided to go with a more basic model so that we would not have problems others have faced with the technology and repairs. Also, the price was great. It was delivered about two months ago and so far we could not be happier. I love the french doors with bottom freezer and icemaker. We purchased the internal water and it works great. I read some negative reviews regarding the ice maker but so far we have not had any problems. Actually, it has been so efficient that we have to turn it off from time to time until we use up some of the ice.
I definitely recommend this refrigerator.

My Samsung Refrigerator is nice looking, a good size, and so far seems to run well.
Unfortunately it is very loud. It runs often, occasionally quietly, but usually it has a loud chirping noise. I contacted Samsung and they replaced two parts under warranty, unfortunately there is no improvement.
The chirping noise is extremely disturbing and can be heard in adjoining rooms.
If it was not for this noise I would be extremely happy with this product.

This refrigerator meets all our needs. It holds a lot of food, keeps everything cold, and allows us to easily find what we need. The design is very efficient and it looks great, too. The drawers and shelves are heavy duty, so we expect many years of service out of it.

I bought this refrigerator after looking at quite a few french door models. Samsung's interior seemed to be very spacious and I liked the interior water dispenser. It is a nice looking refrigerator also. After having the refrigerator for almost 3 months, I have noticed it gets small dents extremely easy. We have around 12 small dents all over the exterior and have no idea why they keep appearing. I contacted Samsung and so far they have no answers for the problem. I truly feel like this is a defect in workmanship. It is almost as if the refrigerator is covered in tin foil instead of stainless steel! Also, it makes extremely loud popping noises throughout the day...like the sound of a gun. Samsung calls this normal. None of my friends seem to have these problems with their non-Samsung stainless refrigerators. The customer service reps seem very receptive to helping but have so far offered no resolutions.

I decided to buy stainless steel appliances to upgrade the look of my kitchen. I found this samsung french door fridge which I absolutely LOVE. It has so much room! No joke, I fit almost everything in my previous fridge (which wasn't tiny by any means) in just the doors of this fridge! So much room for all kinds of food! I love that it comes with the water dispenser and it was a great value! The LED lights are like walking into a party every time I open the fridge.The pull out drawer freezer is great, as well. So much room inside of there too! Beyond happy with my purchase!

This is a great looking french door refrigerator with an internal water dispenser. For the price it is excellent. The other, more expensive refrigerators have offers that don't change the functionality or appearance all that much. Note this does stick out a fair amount like other ones. If you want it to be flush you will have to pay much more for a counter depth one (which I do not think is worth it).

This Fridge has caused me so many problems, The first one the water dispenser stuck open and it shot water all over my floor had to shut off the water at the wall. Best Buy replaced that because it was only a couple weeks after buying. But this second one is now leaking from the back tube that goes between the icemaker and water dispenser, past the Best Buy 3 months so called Samsung support and even though it is fully under warranty they kept threatening that I would be charged for this. I said no way you get a technician to fix this and quickly, we will see. I will be looking at other manufacturers in the future for my appliances, I used to be a Samsung only person, but after having to call support I have seen that they don't care about the customer.....

Overall great fridge for the price, I had issues with the door being stiff, but the store replaced it for me so it turned out great. I love the fact that the water is located inside the fridge now instead of the outside, and the alarm goes off indicating that you left the doors open, I'm happy with my purchase.

Love this fridge! The internal water dispenser saves so much room. The shelves on the doors are very generous in size. Has a large tray for lots of ice in the freezer. All your most used fridge stuff is easily accessed on top, while less used freezer stuff is in a perfect size drawer that's designed to keep you organized. The fridge has 2 drawers for produce plus a fancy cool select pantry drawer for deluxe meats, etc. not to mention this fridge looks so sharp! Love it!! It doesn't take up anymore space than my old side by side fridge, yet holds much more and is all much more accessible. The interior lights are pretty too:)

Our old refrigerator was going out and we needed a replacement fast! We found another brand at Sears and was excited to get it delivered! On the day of the scheduled delivery Sears never showed up!! After dealing with their customer service for a couple days and still no fridge, we decided to cancel our order for the other brand. We went to our local Best Buy and found the other brand but then seen the Samsung. It was bigger! Had more features! Just a pinch more but I'm glad we paid the extra money for this product. Having more room for our groceries and ice water at our finger tips is awesome! Thanks for this great product!!
