Great capacity and features

We upgraded from an aging Samsung set that was not front loading. Also nowhere near the same capacity. With the added smart home USB adapter we can control monitor the drying and wash cycles, which adds to the convenience factor. The 7.5 cu. ft. is great to large loads, rarely do I need to perform one than one load with my matching washer. The only thing I wish I could have done was the color, white is nice, but doesn't quite pop like the other color options.

Eco-mode is a disaster

For some crazy reason, the machine is equipped with an "ECO-mode" which the manual says saves energy. What it does, is leave your laundry damp, which then it becomes musty, which means you have to rewash and dry it again... (hopefully, but not always remembering to disable the stupid ECO-mode) It causes 2-3 times the energy use, and is INCREDIBLY annoying. While you would THINK it's easy enough to turn off, it's simply so counter intuitive that you have to turn this nonsense off with EVERY load, that it is frequently overlooked. There is NO default to turn it off. We bought a big strong gas dryer to get the clothes dry... not to languish damp while saving the world. I'm so incredibly frustrated by corporations trying to save me from myself! I want the laundry dry - is that so much to ask for from a drying machine?

Good dryer but could offer more flexibility.

I have only one problem with this dryer. You can only change the temperature in the timed mode. On my old dryer, I could select a lower temperature when I selected perm press or normal modes but the temperature setting is fixed in all the preset selections and can not be changed. I consider this very limiting.

I needed a new washer and dryer for my newly remodeled laundry room. Happily, I was able to purchase the washer and dryer during the Black Friday weekend (great price). I decided on the white color with the dark blue front doors. Wow, the style of the two really makes the room look picture perfect. Both machines are really quiet while in use. I like the cute bell sounds it makes when you turn them on. But, most of all I like clean clothes and boy does it get the stains out. Additionally, I save money with less drying time. Only con so far, my adult children want to wash their clothes at my house.

We love the efficiency of a gas dryer. Not only does drying time quicker, but clothes come out wrinkle free all the time. This also helps save on electricity bills each month. the Samsung Dryer (gas) may cost a bit more, but it is worth every penny. The features on this model are excellent. the little melody it plays when it turns on and when it is done is so Cool. I am still reading the huge manual on both my washer and dryer, but it is so worth it!

I like the fact that you can operate the machine through a smart device like your phone since it is marketed as a "smart" machine. I have to give it a thumbs down for having to buy an adapter which is an additional cost. If the machine is a smart machine it should come out of the box ready to operate.
