The new dryer is very nice. The steam feature is great when you cant fold the laundry right after it is dry. My only complaint is sometimes the clothes are not fully dry after using the normal dry cycle so I often use the heavy cycle. And I love that the door opens two ways.

Eh Wont Buy Again

A loud irritating high-pitched ringing sound started up with the dryer about 4 months after purchase no its not loose change.... Had a Costco-directed LG-contracted AE Factory Service repair person look at it and say Thats just an LG thing. We havent figured out how to make it stop. On top of that we kept getting an error code of d80 from the Flow Sense even though the exhaust had been professionally vacuumed out prior to install and Ive checked the duct and airflow since. That was a mother-board or something that needed to be replaced. Part supposedly ordered and the technician would come back out again. Well that was a month 15 phone calls and about 5 irrelevant or past the fact automated messages and one online chat to/from Costco LG and AE. There doesnt seem to be a commitment to making this right.

Really like all the cycle choices and the LED drum light. Its also nice to have the ThinQ app notify me when a cycle is complete. Clothes always come out dry using the sensor and the lint filter is easy to clean.
