The Bosch benchmark induction range is a great piece of hardware. I love how fast it brings water to a boil and how well built it appears to be. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too.
Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. I'm not finding the WiFi connect option to sync my range and hood.

It performs great as well as it looks great. The induction burners are very responsive and change heat levels quickly. They heat up quick when you need it and the barely there simmer level is really good. They cool fast as expected from induction, really easy to clean up messes. The oven temperature is true and burns evenly. Convection is an added feature that I use a lot with baking and love it. I had this oven since January and I love it, only good things to say so far.

When I first got my Bosch induction range I was very excited, and a bit timid since I was new to induction cooking.
After the first couple of days I became familiar with it, and absolutely love it. The control over the cooking temperature is unbelievable. I have been cooking for over 50 years, and never have I been this happy with a range.
I strongly recommend this range if you are looking for an induction range - you will never regret your decision.

As a new convert to induction cooking I wasn't really sure what to expect. I did a lot of research, and all research made me realize that Bosch would be the best choice for me. My new range is amazing, it has definitely exceeded my expectations. I am thoroughly impressed with the induction way of cooking at this point. My only regret is not making this purchase sooner.

I just received my new induction range 3 days ago, but I have already cooked several things on it, and am very happy with the stove. It heats the cookware very quickly, and cooks evenly. As a side note, it looks great in my kitchen, and guests have been very complimentary of it. Nothing beats functional and great looking. Perfect addition to my kitchen, and I'm looking forward to many years of use.

So far I love my range. I would have given 5 stars, but my range arrived with a bend in the metal underneath the glass cooktop on the left side. Thankfully, my countertop is is less than 36 inches or the range would not have slid in properly.

Got this to replace our Electrolux double oven slide in induction range which after 13yrs needed up to 2K worth of repairs. The Bosch is the only range that is a true slide in where the top extends over the counter ends. Worried a bit about the noise due to reviews, but sales person tested it with a decibel ap, and we think it is a bit quieter than the Electrolux. The range seems a bit less powerful, but the oven is much more consistent. All in all very pleased with the range so far.

We've only had the range for two full days, but we've quickly become converts to the induction way. Appreciate the burners that can be joined to use a griddle or an oval shaped pan. We love the even heating and how the cooktop stays cool. My husband woke up at 3am and decided he couldn't sleep so baked an apple cake to try out the oven. It was perfect. The set up of the burners seems a little odd. There is what feels like wasted space in the top right corner, but we haven't had it long enough to pass any final judgement. The one thing that is a pain is the warming drawer--it pops open if barely touched and is REALLY hard to get it to close--it would be nice if there was an after market fix for this.

We went to replace our gas stove. We were told that this was the only stove that would fit in our spot. Our old stove was propane. Our salesman told us new porpane stoves don't come propane ready and suggested Induction so we gave it a go. ould not be happier. It's just great.

We were really enjoying this range, which is beautiful. No complaints until it suddenly stopped working almost immediately after the warranty ended. Oven appears to go on but doesn't heat, cooktop is completely dead. Now we have to wait almost two weeks for the authorized repair people in our area to come see what went wrong. We have had many great Bosch appliances, but this one is a huge disappointment.

Had this for about a month and am very satisfied with its performance. Switched from gas to induction, and am very impressed. 12" saute pan's entire surface is heated when frying. Temperature control is very responsive and precise. And boiling water for pasta: 5 qts (4.7l) boils from cold tap water to boiling in about 4 minutes! Oven: Baked my favorite cheesecake perfectly.

We've had our new induction slide-in range for just about a month now. We're still getting to know it and I look forward to discovering and learning about all its unique features. Overall, we're happy with it. We switched from a gas range and are very pleased that it does indeed get as hot (if not hotter). We love the lefthand 2 stovetops that can be combined into one big one - we ust it for our 15" cast iron and it's perfect!
The one thing that's driving us nuts so far is that the warming drawer gets easily opened by our feet bumping it, and then can be tricky to close. Seems like a bit of a design flaw, but we're hopefully learning to avoid accidentally opening it so often.
Definitely would recommend.

The Bosch Benchmark is our third INDUCTION range. We are experienced induction users and this unit is far superior to anything else out there. Let me start with the little things that count... oven racks with open handles that allow easy pull out, a temperature probe that is absolutely accurate and a warming drawer that opens with the touch of a toe. The extended over the counter cooktop that eliminates cleaning food crumbs down the side of the range is wonderful. Now to the more important things, cooktop elements that heat super quick and have a wide range of heating capabilities and the convection bake mode that does away with fallen cakes even at high altitudes. This remarkable range features oven temperatures that are accurate and consistent. Should I mention the separate panel locks on the cooktop and the oven to prevent accidental turn on. All of this plus, the well known benefits of induction cooking. If you want the best at a medium price range, this is it!!

We have been using our Benchmark Induction Slide-in Range for just about a full year now and feel we can provide an accurate review. We had been using a gas slide-in range for close to 20 years. By the time we got around to rennovating our kitchen, the oven had died and I was in no mood to repair it once again. We shopped around through various online reviews of products and, when we learned there was a Bosch Benchmark in town that we could actually look at and touch and talk to a real person about, we jumped to go look (and touch, of course). When we left, we had arranged for delivery of our Benchmark range. It was a definite change from what we were used to. And it required a learning curve that we are still working through. But we are VERY glad we made the switch. Knowing that how one maintains their equipment is a measure of their respect for it, you will be pleased to know we still clean the cook surface every night before bed. We still have the occasional 'ooops' when we have multiple 'burners' going at the same time and need to adjust one. We just need to be better at remembering to reselect the burner. The responsiveness, even more so than gas, still surprises us. As a baker, I particularly appreciate the oven. While slightly smaller than the oven in our gas range, it exceeds my demands. It heats promptly and maintains temperature. And, surprisingly, it does not heat the kitchen space the way the gas range did; therefore, much less wasted energy. We can honestly say that given the opportunity to do so we will never go back, whether to gas or to conventional electric.

We're really enjoying our new induction stove. Coming from electric, it took a little bit to get used to the controls but now that we're familiar with them we love it.
Induction is great. Fast heating when needed and even, steady temps from low to high. The oven has also been great. Love the range of temps available and the rollout shelf. Between the induction top and well insulated oven, our kitchen doesn't get as hot as our previous electric stove. Oh, and it looks great, too!

1. Service in SE Michigan area: needed front door service due to glass breakage before install. 3rd party service was not trained in the disassembly and replacement of the window. If using non certified Bosch technicians, then I would recommend entire door replacement, or else more thorough training and repair manual documentation. Due to inexperience the door with new glass was reassembled incorrectly, which led to sending glass breakage and overall 2 months unable to use oven.
2. Love the broiler with the coil designed to distribute the heat over the entire rack area.
3. Warming drawer works great but the indicator on control panel very small and obscure, would be easy to get left in after use.
4. Like the range especially the fast boil feature! For sautéing heat distribution did not seem uniform using cast iron pan. Maybe it's the pan but is there a test done before shipping to measure heat transfer uniformity on each of the coils?
5. Learned range does not like pans stored on surface. Found from IKEA a SST rack with plastic feet that fits great on surface so can store pans on it.
6. Would be helpful if you could add dehydration feature like some other high end ovens, either in the warmer or the oven.
7. Kitchen timer not intuitive. Add oral interface like "hey Bosch set a timer for 10 minutes" might be good. We just use magnetic ones.

We really like our Bosch induction cooktop. The look is very sleek and clean, and we like how the edge of the cooktop overlaps the countertop (this is aesthetic and practical). This is our first cooktop with touch controls; we're still getting used to that and miss having knob controls. This is our first induction cooktop, and we love the responsiveness of the heat control (much better than our old electric range!). This cooktop is also super easy to clean, at least so far! We don't love the eye configuration. While it's possible, it is difficult to fit two large pot/pans on the range at the same time. Like I said, it works, but I believe the eyes could be configured in a more ideal way. We do love the flex cooking zone though. One issue we've had three times now is the oven fan not shutting off...usually it shuts off a little while after we cut the oven off, but there's been three times where it never shut off (the fan was still running hours after we shut the oven off). To fix it, we turn the oven on and off a few times and then it eventually shuts off. This is something I need to call Bosch about...I hope this will be an easy fix and covered by the warranty (and hopefully Bosch customer service is easy to work with!). Overall we really like and would recommend this induction range.

We decided to upgrade our kitchen appliances about a year ago, and after researching the Bosch line, we liked the clean look of the Bosch appliances and for electric cooktop we're just loving the induction. the quick easy temperature control makes it fun to cook on the cooktop. the controls are intuitive and I can even set the clock without reading the manual.😂 finally and just as importantly, as the ease of cooking is the ease of cleaning up, and my wife and I appreciate that tremendously.

My last range was a Bosch slide in electric range. It was sleek and looked built in. Then I discovered the induction sliding range and was impressed by how accurate the temperature control was and the lack of knobs on the front making it very easy to keep clean. It's an amazing range! The temperature control and options for using several elements together and dividing elements into stepped temperature zones are all very impressive. I can't say enough great things about this range.

Had the unit less than three years and it's already been repaired twice. Faulty door hinge and heating element. Plus there are numerous screws which are completely stripped. We find them occasionally on the floor under or beside the unit when they fall out - yes, screws literally fall off this unit. This is simply overtightening at the factory and a serious lack of QA controls. Should be embarrassing coming from Bosch and a $4,000+ unit. Last Bosch appliance I will purchase.

This range is amazing. It cooks perfectly, cleans up easily. Really love it. Only thing I would change is the oven buttons cannot be locked when it is in use. I sometimes lean on the buttons accidentally pushing them resulting in the oven being turned off.

Overall, I really like the induction cooktop and the oven is quite good.
I'm still getting used to the switch from gas, so I'm still slightly uncomfortable with using buttons instead of a continuous dial to set the temp but I think that will fade.
The responsiveness of the induction cooktop still catches me by surprise, since it's even more powerful than most gas cooktops.
I really only have 2 criticisms after using it for almost 3 months, both small:
First, the oven seems to take longer to come to temp than I expect. (I know some modes say preheating isn't required, but I haven't experimented with that yet)
Second, I wish the largest, most powerful induction "burner" was closer to the front instead of being in the far back. I think swapping the largest (center back) and smallest (front right) would be better.
I guess the one other thing I'm getting used to is the pan sliding on the cooktop as I stir. It doesn't seem like this is leading to scratches, so it may be a very minor to non-issue, but I've gotten used to using 2 hands to stir.

We bought this induction cooktop electric range to replace a gas range, and it was an easy choice considering our past experience with other Bosch appliances ( our refrigerator and dishwasher), the price point of this range, and the features we receive with this range. It has been great cooking and baking with the speed of induction on the cooktop and the consistency and accuracy of the heating in the oven. This range has the same features as more expensive ovens, so this was a smart choice for us.

This is my first foray into an induction stovetop. It's as easy to use as a gas stovetop only better. No flame makes a lot of difference in not heating up the kitchen,but most importantly me.
I like the electric oven, but am still learning how to cook in it,as it is different. Doesn't heat up as fast as a gas oven.
The proofing cycle is awesome,and let me choose my temp between 85 degrees Fahrenheit to around 120. It might go higher, I don't know.

Love the stove top with the flex join option and easy to used controls. Cooking with induction is so much more exacting tthan gas and it doesn't heat up the kitchen, just the pans. The oven cooks evenly at all levels at once.

This is my first induction cooktop and I could not be happier. MORE responsive than Gas and it's been an easy switch for me and feels very intuitive. I love the glide rack in the oven and the convection bake is great when I have forgotten to start baking the potatoes....they cook so quickly with Convection Bake. This slide in range has it all!!

Burners and oven work fine as expected and the warming drawer is wonderful BUT if you have a 'tummy' or are short expect to press against the oven buttons and change any settings you have going. Like the thanksgiving turkey that stopped roasting because I was reaching to stir a tall pot at the back of the stove. Kitchen full of people, noise and conversation I didn't hear the beeps. The oven was off for maybe half an hour before someone noticed. This has happened a number of times in the two years I've owned this stove. 'Panel lock' button only works if oven is OFF. Very, very disappointing. I can't help it that i'm not 5'6" and 110 lbs.

I recently got the benchmark induction slide in range as part of a kitchen renovation and have been really happy with it so far. There is a very brief learning curve with using induction but after a few uses it is very intuitive. I no longer worry about overflowing water from a boiling pot burning on cooktop. I like the easy oven controls and really like the telescoping oven rack. I haven't used all of the feature like the built in temperature probe but I'm excited to try them.

I recently moved into a new location and this is my 2nd purchase of this oven within the past 4 years. It took me a while to get used to induction as I had gas. The newer model now has more stovetop heat options to get my food cooking at the exact temp. And the oven roasts and bakes evenly, as always. I love this range - and if I have to move again, I'll rebuy it!!

I've used the range now for two months and I am very happy. It's fast, accurate and very easy to clean. Only thing I find somewhat negative is the the single control for all top induction elements is not great. The visible side panels are painted rather than stainless steel and detract from the overall appearance in a standard range opening.

After hearing great things about Bosch, we got the benchmark 30" induction range and dishwasher. The first range turned on completely by itself, including the broil function. We requested immediate replacement of the unit which happened. The second range is just OK. It's missing features my very low end induction range had, like a delayed start on the oven, no connection to their wifi app, the power output of the burners is no stronger than the cheap model (have to cook an egg on 8). The metal around the oven case are not tight and there are gaps where it just doesn't fit, this was the same on both ovens. The buttons on the cooktop are so sensitive a slight hand over them changes cook temps unexpectedly and the placement of the burners is awkward, especially if 2 or 3 pots are cooking at the same time. I have to cook my bread 5 mins longer with the convection setting on to get the same doneness as our old oven. We really wanted to love this range but we don't. It does not seem to have the quality or functionality we expected.

We had had our old stove since 1992 and were somewhat concerned about new technology: glass top, push buttons instead of dials, induction cooking, change in general. As it turned out, our fears were unwarranted. The manual is well-written and very clear. The quick response when I change the temperature on the cooktop allows me to adjust as necessary. And it gave me an excuse to buy new cookware, rehoming most of my old pots and pans with a friend. My only problem is, because I'm short, I often inadvertently push an oven setting when I'm cooking on the cooktop! Onverall a great purchase.

This is the first induction range we have had and after 5 weeks of use, we love it and never want to go back to electric. The oven is much more consistent and seems to be quicker and everything cooks more evenly - even without using induction. The stovetop is the best! On electric, I would bring something to a boil and turn it down and it would take so long to cool off things would boil over. Not here! The temperature drops immediately and nothing boils over. Things come to a boil more quickly as well. And we can even run separate timers for the oven and the stovetop! We are spoiled now!
