This is a brand new Bosch Electric Slide In Range installed in March 2025. Performance has been consistently bad. The oven has barely been used but broke down due to the temperature sensor being flawed at installation and so cannot operate. The electric stove top takes a long time to heat up and then stays hot after you shut it down. It offers low heating power and is very inefficient! Avoid this model unless it comes with the apartment complex

Our stove came with a scratched cook top which was replaced under warranty. The second stove top started fading and scuffing despite our always using approved soaps and cleaning cloths. A call to service said it was likely cosmetic and not covered under warranty, and we would have to pay a technician to come out and evaluate the situation, even though the stove was still under warranty. Very disappointing experience from what we thought was a reputable company producing a good product.

I did not want to spend this much on an oven/cooktop but this was literally the only one that fit into the space. It takes forever to preheat and when I open the door during cooking to check on my food the unit shuts off and I receive an error message. I am already needing to schedule service on a brand new item.

We have had our range for about 6 months. The cooking is great, everything you would expect, easy to adjust heat. Oven if wonderful as we bake lots of bread, fast preheat is a nice feature for dinner rush.
The warming drawer has a spring loaded release that is incredibly annoying, it pops open all the time even if you brush against it with your foot. Additionally most of the time it takes more than one, commonly several, attempts to close and latch it.
Sometimes if you open the oven door steam will activate the control panel. Never had it change the temp or mode setting but is surprising.

Love the stove, excellent quality and style. This is our second kitchen re-do of the original Bosch appliances.
One point of itnerest, the glass cooktop is extremely difficult to keep clean. Even after cleaning, fingerprints appear. Require daily polishig, as many time the usual recommended cleaning does not always work. The Bosch range it replaced had a smooth cooktop and was easily washed clean, however, this model has a galss cooktop with groves, making it a bit more labor intense.
All, in all, I wiould lighly recommend this product.

We've been using this range for about two months now and we love it. The cook top is very easy to clean, it has a flexible burner layout, and the materials are very high-quality. Also, the convection is very effective. The warming drawer is also a convenient feature.

Tip over bracket installed according to directions and did not line up with leveling leg. First time we used the oven the control panel flashed a E011 code. Nice looking range but so far not impressed. Time will tell.

Love the warming tray on the bottom and warming area on the stove top. Touch screen is pretty sensitive so if you are wiping down lock it so you don't set off all types of things. So far loving it

This is first time using an electric range. After using it for a couple of days, liking it more than old gas ranges. Only dislike is will need to purchase stainless heat diffuser plate for glass cooktop to prevent Magnalite aluminum cookware residue from sticking to cooktop. Although the residue does come off easily with a good quality cleaner.

I have all Bosch appliances except my refrigerator. When my 10 yr old range was well used I decided to get a newer model. I went with another manufacturer. What a mistake. It lasted 3 years and the glass top just cracked one day when I was heating soup.
I went back to my first love. I am now the proud owner of a Bosch slide in. Thank you so much!

This is our second exact same range from Bosch (purchases about 6 years appart).
In both cases, we had issues with the range right away. This time, when the over is hot and door opens and closses, an error code appears on the touch screen, it states to call service, and shuts the oven off.) Also, the warming drawer doesn't close (it takes several tries for it to snap closed).
Overall i like the features and look of the range. There are very few ovens that fit in our kitchen, hence, why this is #2 of the same model.
This latest version, has small changes, but most noticicle is that the glass cooktop has no retaining "lip" over the front knobs and screen. We had to change the electrical panel twice in our old range because liquids would seep down with any spills. I think the change will prevent from this fault.

This model has a faulty design. When the oven is opened while baking, the steam causes a sensor to indicate an error and the oven shuts down. It doesn't start to reheat for 5-1- minutes. The first time I baked this happened. The range was installed the same day. We had 3 service calls, a new control panel installed and it still shut down a total of 52 times in less than 8 weeks before we were offered a buy-back from Bosch. It was a nightmare experience.

We bought this electric range in 2021.
We werent able to move in and use the range until 2022
(range out of warranty- after 1 year- complained to Bosch support, no help from them)
Not sure it it ever kept correct temperature.
I bought an oven thermometer 6 months in. I would set oven about 50 degrees higher temp than what I needed. Brought in repairman who quoted us $1500 for new motherboard.
NOW, the oven won't go above 350 degrees.
And it doesnt reheat, I have to reset the bake temp constantly for it to reheat. example set bake to 450 and it will go to 350 for about 10 minutes then drop down.
This oven is complete garbage!
Looks shiny and new, cant use it properly. :((

I have always liked the looks of Bosch appliances. This 30-inch slide-in range was no exception. So it was with considerable disappointment that the User Interface (UI) contol pad malfunctioned only a few months after I purchased the range. Fortunately, the repair technician was able to find a replacement part, despite the original part number having been changed.
I still believe Bosch makes some of the best appliances on the market. They are built solidly with quality materials. However, in this case, it was the control unit that proved to be defective. I am hoping the UI does not fail again.
The range has operated correctly since the UI replacement.

We have been very happy with our range thus far. And It looks as good as it cooks and bakes. We love the overlap of the glass top over our countertop. It prevents drips and spills down the side of the range. And It fits in our space like a glove. If I could improve one thing, it would be a faster oven preheat, but it's not any different than other ranges. Overall, we are very pleased.

We love how the stove top is responsive while cooking. You can raise and lower the temperature as needed unlike other electric stove tops. The oven bakes and broils like a champ. We love it.
Installation took 4 months because no one could measure 43/4 from the back wall, plus they had problems with drilling into concrete. We don't like the stove top inobs on the front because the knobs have been accidentally bumped into and the stove top is on. If there are small children this is not the stove to have in your home. We lock the panel, but the stove top still turns on. Then the bottom warming drawer does not want to stay closed and takes 4-5 times before it finally wants stay closed.

We bought this and 2 other Bosch appliances on 9/1/25 The range, Dishwasher and Microwave were installed on 9/10. The oven on the range has not worked since Day1! We get an error code of E011, Between contacting Bosch and the Store where we bought the appliances we are still waiting for it to be fixed. The earliest is now 12/3. Apparently BOSCH does not have any control boards in stock, anywhere.
This is a brand new stove. We bought Bosch because we thought the reputation was excellent and we bought fro our local appliance dealer because they had a good reputation. Neither has proven accurate. Very disappointed. There are many more details with this catastrophe which I will not go into detail in this submission. Would love to hear from anybody associated with Bosch.

This is a beautiful, sleek appliance that looks built-in, yet slides neatly into the counter space. The electric cooktop is easy to clean and offers four burners and a warming zone. I'm still learning the settings of the burners, but am pleased with how quickly things reach the temperature I want. The oven is the best! It keeps an even temperature throughout the oven space and holds a consistent temperature. As a prolific baker, I can't wait to begin my Christmas baking with this Bosch range!

I feel that there are safety features that should be addressed when there are small children in the household, they can easily touch the controls I find that if I lean over to reach top cabinets above range and part of my clohting or an accidental touch activates the control settings. Also, the last incidence was an activation of the self clean oven. When I immediaately turned it off the fan operated for at least 10 minutes. One of my burners takes forever to heat on high and when it does burns everything up even turning down three and four notches.

I am an appliance repair technician. My company is called Cooper's Cool Fridge and Freezer out of Raleigh, NC. I work on all major brands of appliances. In my experience, Bosch delivers the most reliable products. I always inform my customers about Bosch when they ask me about what is good and bad in the market. I personally have been replacing my own equipment as they go with Bosch. 800 series dishwasher is by far the best. 800 series range installed a couple months ago, so far, very happy with it.

The electronic control of this oven is suspect. If one opens the oven door to check on a cooking item, it typically shuts off the programmed process. After some service work with a new controller, this is partially, but not completely improved. We expected more from this expensive appliance.

I splurged on the Bosch 800 Series Electric Slide-in Range (model HEI8056U) for its clean, flush-mount design and reputation for reliable performance during my kitchen upgrade. The cooktop's five radiant elements heat up quickly and evenly. So far, those core features are holding strong without issues.
That said, the built-in warming drawer has been an absolute letdown right from the start. Just a few days after installation, it wouldn't close fully-sticking and refusing to latch no matter what I tried. Now, it's deteriorated further, with internal components loosening and falling out, rendering it completely non-functional and a potential hazard.
Contacting Bosch support is even worse https://www.bosch-home.com/us/owner-support/book-a-service is just non-functional - first it asks for model number to then let you conventiently know to go back and stick it:

Opening the oven door simply to check, adjust, or baste food should not trigger an error code, alarm, and full shutdown. Yet that's exactly what happens - the oven turns off completely, losing temperature and timers in the process.
Warranty and service have explained that the door must be opened fully and quickly to help prevent vapour from reaching the internal electronics. If this is truly required to avoid failure, it reflects a serious design flaw. An oven should be built to handle normal use, including brief door openings during cooking.

Cook top is super sentivie to breakage on #3 top, and replacements are VERY hard to get ahold of. The drawer below never and i mean HAS NEVER EVER stayed closed! Cannot remember how many times i and my kids have kicked this thing.
