Overall, the oven microwave combo is very nice. The oven heats up quickly and the microwave is large and easy to use. Our only complaint is that the downward opening door to the microwave is difficult to access for shorter people. My wife is 5'2" and has to use a step-ladder to access the microwave easily while the oven is at the perfect height for her.

The microwave works great as does the oven. We are very happy with our new Bosch appliances! We do wish there was a way to disable the settings menu, which continues to roll, beeping through the many options even after all options have already been selected.

This is a quality oven! My last three ovens in less than 20 years can not compare. When my last oven which was a Maytag stopped working after only 6 years, we said that we want an oven that will be our last oven, and surely we hit the jackpot ! we LOVE it!

We love this unit. It is amazingly quiet. It has a high end, sleek design. The oven clock has a continued display but the Microwave has an automatic ecco feature that clears the clock display and can't be changed.

We remodeled our entire kitchen with Bosch and this unit looks beautiful. The stove portion gets to temp way faster than our old one and the microwave cooks quiclky and evenly. No regrets!

When we remodeled our kitchen we wanted a second wall oven and a microwave that complemented our new cabinets, countertops, and flooring. It's easy to clean, looks impressive, and the smart functions make using it fun. We wanted the best, not necessarily the most expensive, but real quality and build features. Having the ability to preHeat remotely, and set up cooking times Are features whe can't do without now. It's a great combo, and I highly recommend it!

No clock on the microwave oven

First, the microwave is at eye level but no clock. The oven does have a satellite based clock. The controls of each unit are separate and it's taken some practice to determine what each control does, e.g. the kitchen ENTER or start button is a button located right of the number screen is located on the microwave whereas the oven has ENTER at the bottom of touchscreen.
On the positive side they are separate units so if one goes out they can be replaced individually.

I am loving the style and functions of the new appliances; this combo oven/micro, refrigerator, dishwasher, & cooktop. All 4 Bosch 800 series.
But.. the oven door was delivered scratched under the door logo and when I called to get the door replaced under warranty, I scheduled an appointment and was told the repair person would bring a new door. A few days before my appt. I tried to get in touch with the repair person to get his name and whether he had the replacement door. No one would give me any information.
I was upset because now I have a complete stranger coming to my house and I don't know if he has a new door. As it turned out, I cancelled the appt. due to the lack of information and that I was told that the appt. person was just going to "assess the problem". If the scratch was determined to have been caused after being uncrated, it would not be under warranty and I would have to pay for a new door. I had first called Bosch to ask for a brand of stainless steel polish that would soften the scratch; I was present when the oven was uncrated but did not see the scratch until it was installed.
This has been a nightmare of trying to get Bosch to do the right thing and just replace the door. I spent arround 10K on my purchases and have to live with a scratched oven door after a full kitchen remodel. Just be aware and present when your appliances are delivered.

We have had this Combo installed for about 5 years. Overall it is our workhorse in the kitchen. It is used everyday. I recently had to replace the magnetron but that was actually fairly easy. Would have cost me about more if I had a company come out. I wish the display on the microwave was a bit brighter and didn't dim, or at least made it adjustable. Actually now that I think about it the displays are different. Can set the microwave to military time. Decal descriptors are also starting to wear. With that being said I wouldn't trade it. It has worked great every time (exception of having to fix the microwave). I highly reccomend the oven.

Excellent aesthetics, looks lean and mean, minimalist, clean, sharp, and functional. Just started using the WiFi features to preheat, etc. controlled from the phone. The meat probe is very cool too. I was wondering the other day if I could switch the microwave to the bottom and the oven to the top, and I think it is possible, but have not got around to it yet. We don't use the microwave very often, but it sure is handy. My only complaint is that the buttons are not necessarily as sensitive as they could be. There is no tactile feedback. Maybe I'm traditional, but I do like my buttons to have some tactile feedback. On the plus side, the keypads and other buttons are exceptionally easy to clean And that's important because I've got butter or fish oil or bacon grease on my fingers when I'm pushing them. Yum. We actually get a lot of compliments on our Bosch appliances and recommend them.

Replacement Oven/Microwave Combo

We recently replaced our Thermidor combination over with a BOSCH 800 series combination. We checked out the options and decided this would fit our space without requiring any structural changes to the cabinets. We do have another BOSCH product and are familiar with the quality of their products. The only issues we have encountered with the new Oven/Micro is that the Microwave door opens downward instead of sideways. My wife is short and this makes it somewhat difficult to remove items from the micro. Unfortunately all the other products we looked at all had the same door feature, so we will adjust. One other feature we have found is a problem is the Beeper on both micro/oven is set at Hi (3), but you almost have to be in front of the appliance to hear it and there seems no way to adjust it louder (for senior citizens). Food has been forgotten in the micro! Therefore another adjustment will have to be a portable counter timer!
Otherwise this appliance works great, meets our current needs and we're sure will outlast our remaining years.

Do NOT buy this product. It has known issues with power. Bosch has terrible customer service. I have to wait for a month for someone to come in and fix for a brand new applinace for which I paid ~$5K.

The microwave plugs into the oven, with a separate fuse. Therefore, something that would trip a circuit requires expensive repair. Microwave door latches seem to need replacement for alignment seems like flawed design. Finally, for such an expensive product, warranty period is short and leaves purchasers with expensive non-covered products.

I was worried about some of the reviews on the microwave. I live that it is at eye level in my cabinet and I am short. It also has more than enough power. The oven preheats quickly and has been true to temperature

Ordered this through Home Depot in July 2021 but supply chain issues meant we didn't get it delivered and installed until May2022. It is used 6 months out of the year and I was very happy until June 2024 when the microwave part just stopped running. No lights, no control panel, no nothing. Had repair guy out 3 times (on our own dime as the lousy 1 year warranty had expired)until he replaced a fuse (which took over a week to get). Now working but repair guy said he doesn't understand what caused the fuse to go bad. So now always a bit nervous...will it run? will it just die again? Not the most reliable product in my opinion and the warranty is ludicrous.

We've had this combo less than a year and the fuse keeps blowing because the microwave unit given is plugged into the oven. In a 10 month period, it's only worked 6 months. The workaround is to make sure that people clear the time before opening the microwave.

Love the combo oven and microwave. Microwave is easy to use and heats food very well. Oven is the perfect size, heats very fast and is very accurate. Convection mode gets food nice and crispy. Love that it's wifi connected so I can pre-heat without even being home!
