The term "Mappa Burl" refers to a specific type of veneer sourced from the burls of the Mappa tree. The veneer used is cut from the burls, which are irregular growths on the tree, resulting in a captivating and intricate wood grain pattern that resembles a map-like appearance. The frames in this collection are produced with MDF and feature Mappa Burl veneer on the exteriors, Oak veneer in the interiors, and the legs are created with poplar wood.

Our Namaste collection is made up of one-of-a-kind antique style rugs, which are hand knotted in Pakistan. Many of our rugs range from 35 to 50 years old and are comprised of 80% sheep wool and 20% cotton. They are stripped of their original colours, over-dyed and given new life.
